IRON HORSE STATION

    "My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Iron Horse Station. You can feel the history in the hallways and rooms of the Inn. The beautiful hardwood floors, the quaintness of the rooms, the peacefulness of the town and the surrounding mountains were everything we were looking for in a romantic getaway.

 

    The owners of the Inn and Restaurant, Gary and Karen, could not have been nicer or more accommodating and helpful. The Restaurant offers a great variety of options, each of which was cooked to perfection and the wait staff was friendly and fun.

 

    My wife and I will return to the Inn again and again when we travel to the beautiful blue ridge mountains for the rest, relaxation and exciting adventures that are abundant it this part of Western North Carolina."

    "Karen and Gary (owners) are awesome and the Iron Horse Station is a "must" if you are staying in Hot Springs. My fiance and I were only in Hot Springs for a night, but made reservations to stay at the Iron Horse Station and we are so glad we did! From check in to check out...you just can't ask for nicer service, bigger smiles, great rooms and the authentic character that only a building with such history can deliver.

 

    Lounging in the upstairs with a glass of wine was so relaxing, and later, we had the chance to actually hang out with the owners and other guests staying at the Iron Horse, and it was such a fun, fantastic night!!

 

    I highly recommend making the Iron Horse station a part of your Hot Springs experience for lodging, dinner or drinks - you won't be disappointed!"

    "We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights and loved it. It is a beautiful piece of architecture and the room was beautiful. Being able to make our way downstairs for a good meal (they have tasty vegetarian options) and a nightcap was perfect.

 

    The owners (Karen and Gary) were really friendly and nice without being overbearing and you can tell that they put love and care into maintaining the place. They told us to treat the upstairs lounge like it was our living room and so we did, playing games and knitting. It was fun to be able to talk to some of the other families staying at the Inn and the Inn felt like a miniature community.

 

    We definitely recommend it!"
